Q: How close are the caves?


A: The Cave Country Lodge is near most of the popular caves in Florida.  From here it’s just a short drive to Devil’s Eye/Ear, Little River, Cow, Peacock, Madison, Manatee and 40 Fathom Grotto.




Q: Where do i get fills and equipment?


A: We recommend Amigos Dive Center.  Wayne, the owner of Amigos, is well known for going out of his way to take care of his customers.  Amigos can mix any flavor of gas you need and has all the little parts you tend to break or forget.  And it helps that Amigos is just on the other side of town.  For all your equipment needs check out Dive Addicts online store.




Q: What if I want / need some training while staying in Florida?


A: Randy and Josh both teach courses in Florida- courses range from Intro to Tech Diving, to Cave Diving, to Advanced Mixed Gas CCR diving.  Please contact one or both of us for more details about specific courses.  EMAIL RANDY - EMAIL JOSH.  If we cannot arrange a course with you, we know several excellent instructors we can set you up with.



Q: Where do i keep my dive gear while staying at home?


A: Please DO NOT TAKE ANY DIVE GEAR IN THE HOUSE.  There are 2 heavy duty drying racks for drysuits and gear.  You are more than welcome to use the secure garage to store your gear during your stay.  There is also a work bench in the garage for setting up and working on your gear.  DO NOT CHARGE BATTERIES IN THE HOUSE.  We have a covered, outdoor charging station.  Click HERE to see why.


          




Q: How many people can stay in the home?


A: The maximum is 8 persons.  Cave Country Lodge has 6 twin beds, and one queen sized sofa sleeper.


          




Q: How do I reserve the home?


A: Check our availability calendar and then contact us with your arrival and departure dates, and how many people will be in your party.




Q: What if I need to cancel my reservation?


A: Please let us know as soon as possible.  We routinely turn people away because the house is already booked.  If you don’t give enough notice, you will be charged a cancelation fee:

   

    7 day advance notice - no charge

    Less than 7 days notice - 50% charge

    Less than 24 hours notice - 100% charge 




Q: Are pets allowed?


A:  No.  There are no pets allowed at Cave Country Lodge.




Q: What if i I smoke?


A: No smoking inside Cave Country Lodge.  If you choose to smoke outside, please make sure to clean up after yourself.
